حقق كليب " positions" للنجمة العالمية إريانا جراند نجاحا ملحوظا منذ الساعات الأولى لإطلاقه ، فقد وصلت نسبة مشاهدته على موقع الفيديو الشهير " يوتيوب" لأكثر من 46.6 مليون مشاهدة، وذلك خلال أسبوع فقط من إطلاقه، وهى نسبة مشاهدة ضخمة فى وقت قصير بالمقارنة مع عدد من كليبات أهم و أشهر النجوم فى العالم .
من جهه أخرى حصد كليب " positions " على موقع " يوتيوب " أكثر من 3.1 مليون LIKES .
وظهرت إريانا جراند فى "positions" كأنها أصبحت رئيسة للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، فحسب موقع "جاست جيرد" أن أحداث الفيديو الكامل تدور فى البيت الأبيض، مع أريانا التى ظهرت وهى تجلس فى المكتب البيضاوى، كما ظهرت وهى فى اجتماع مع مجلس وزرائها، ثم يسلط الكليب الضوء أنها تعيش حياتها الطبيعية كأى امرأة تتردد على المطبخ وتقوم بأعداد بعض الأطعمة، فى جناح غرفة النوم الرئاسية تظهر جراند وهى تغنى، وأخيرا تظهر وهى تستمتع بوقتها وتتزه مع كلابها.
